· Haviland Cottage is located on a quite lane in Bonchurch, walking distance to Bonchurch Shore and surrounding walks on the nearby Downs. Bonchurch is located on the outskirts of Ventnor with a regular bus service to Newport with links to other island towns and villages.

It is the policy of Alan Cartwright as the responsible person of Haviland Cottage to protect all persons including  guests, contractors and any other members of the public from potential injury and/or damage to their health which might arise as a result of any activity undertaken. 

We will provide and maintain a safe and healthy environment , and provide such information , traininf and supervision as is fit for this purpose.

We will ensure a high level of commitment to health and fire safety and will comply with all statutory requirements. 

The recommendations from the independent Fire Risk Assessment are accepted and we will complete the changes no later than 31st December 2023.
